This is a full-time benefits-eligible position. The Assistant Registrar – Student Services provides leadership and guidance in all areas of student records management.This position is a knowledgeable and skilled individual dedicated to exceptional constituent service to all, but with a specialfocus on graduate-level education. The Assistant Registrar – Student Services will serve as a valued resource on UCM policyas part of the Registrar’s team and oversee the Academic Records specialists in the absence of the Registrar.

Bachelor’s degree in any field required.

Master’s degree preferred Computer Skills Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Web Page Maintenance, Other - Argos, Banner, XTender, DegreeWorks, Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, Slate, EAB, Presentation Experience
Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in a higher education setting with preference given to individuals with previous professional work experience in a Registrar’s Office. Other Experience Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements of Position: Criminal History check Other Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements Special Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge: Attention to detail, Budget-related skills, Communication skills, including oral, written, and/or nonverbal, Knowledge of a University environment preferred, Human Relations/Interpersonal skills, Leadership skills: organization/meeting facilitation/project leadership, Supervisory skills, including motivation, delegation of duties, evaluation, etc, Management and/or administration skills, Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines, Maintain confidentiality Other Special Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
Creative problem solver and critical thinking.

Inquisitive nature, loves to learn.

Knowledge of FERPA guidelines.

Available two Fridays/Saturdays (and possible Sundays) per year for Commencement duties.

Available on occasional Sundays or after regular hours for technology testing and upgrades (as back up to Assistant Registrar)

Occasional evening/weekend work during busy times (start up, end of term, etc.)
