Job Description:

This position provides general administrative and clerical support for Facilities and Construction managers and directors. Under supervision of a director, this position coordinates and manages office functions, disseminates management directives to mangers and maintenance personnel, and orders and maintains office supplies. This position will manage office traffic, providing a central point for communication between managers, employees, contractors, and visitors. This position will also maintain the director's calendar, update standard operating procedures manuals, and coordinate the completion of personnel actions, and assist with Joint Commission standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • One year of secretarial experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Typing of 50 WPM
  • Proficient skills in MS Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The position requires a successful score on the typing and Secretary 1 civil service tests for those not already in the classification.
  • The ability to work independently and organize and coordinate assigned workflow; ability to organize and schedule meetings, and maintain calendars; ability of understand and explain policy and procedural questions to students; and courses in business administration, management, and English composition.
