Job Description
The Dean’s Office within the College of Veterinary Medicine is pleased to announce the opening of a position for Business Administration Manager III. This position reports to the Executive Administrative Dean (EAD) for the College of Veterinary Medicine and provides all departments within the college assistance and support for fiscal transactions. Will validate entries, perform routine analysis on posted items, provides reports on demand. Detailed tasks follow.
- Supervision and backup of BCM Error Remediation
- Review/Approve Financial Transactions – vouchers, requisitions, ERs – coordinate with EAD
- Ross/St. George/St. Matthews/PAVE
- Submit contracts for campus approval
- Assist with invoice generation
- Deposit checks via CRR/process AHC wire transfers
- Coordinates courtesy appointment generation
- Assist with Scholarship processing
- Share Advancement report
- Generate CVM financial report
- Review draft of scholarship awards
- Invoice generation/track for CARES, Humane Society, MACC
- PCI annual review
- MACC & BSVT
- instructor payment processing (onload & overload)
- Building access to VHC & VMDL
- WorkDay
- Annual training to departmental contacts
- Departmental contact for questions
- Data entry for Dean’s Office chartfields
- In consultation with EAD, process annual commitment allocations to departments & Dean’s Office units
- In consultation with EAD, process access/authorizations for new employees
- MoCode class assignment and adjustments
- Teaching Enhancement Awards – work with Associate Dean’s Office on allocation, submit new chartfield requests to create MoCode, provide budget, review expenses, close chartfield.
- In consultation with EAD, track/update/report college-wide commitments including rate detail by position/employee
- In consultation with EAD, supervise prepaid expense reconciliation
- Ad hoc advanced financial reporting and analyses
Salary Range: $55,208 to $101,842 per year
Grade: GGS 11

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the University’s policies and procedures.
- Hands-on experience with the University of Missouri’s PeopleSoft Finance Production module including Web Applications and WorkDay.
