Clinical Assistant Professor of Economics

Department of Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis

 

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track, Clinical Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis with a preferred start date of January 2023. 

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in economics
  • Maintaining a quality research pipeline
  • Publishing in quality academic journals
  • Performing meaningful service for the department and profession

 

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

 

An earned Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Economics or a closely related field is required.  Doctoral candidates (ABDs) in Economics or related fields from accredited universities are also welcome to apply.  Degree must be earned by hire date.

 

Preferred Qualifications Include

  • Teaching or research interest in Macroeconomics or Statistics.
  • Publication record
  • Experience in teaching undergraduates, particularly in large sections
