Position Description: The Department of Psychology at The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) invites applications for part-time Credential Course Instructor positions for the 2023 spring semester, with the option to renew for additional semesters. The teaching load for this position would be 1-2 courses per semester. We are seeking instructors to teach courses in research methods, cognitive psychology & neuroscience, at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with additional courses possible based upon the candidate's area of specialization.

 

 

Position Requirements: Applicants must have professional work experience in teaching undergraduate or graduate courses in one or more of the areas (research methods, cognitive psychology & neuroscience) in psychology or related fields. The person selected for this position must have a graduate degree in Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution by January 2022. A doctoral degree is preferred. The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
