Glenville State University is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty appointment in Exercise Science beginning August 2023. Individuals with interest or expertise in curriculum innovation as well as a commitment to teaching and scholarly excellence in their specialties are encouraged to apply.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
The successful applicant is expected to:

Teaching the equivalent of 24 hours per academic year (split across fall and spring semesters) to include introductory and upper level undergraduate courses in exercise science in such areas as Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Nutrition, Exercise Prescription, Research Methods, Fitness Testing and laboratory experiences
Advise students, and supervise interns
Participate in departmental and university service activities
Contribute to student recruitment and retention activities
TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants with a doctorate degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field preferred but candidates with ABD status will be considered. Candidates with ACSM or NSCA certification preferred.
