Assistant Professor of Finance

Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, invites applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Finance in the Business Administration Department. This is a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position starting August 15, 2023.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaching: Teach 24 credit hours (typically six courses) per year. Summer and winter term teaching opportunities available but not required. Service: Advise students, assist with recruitment of qualified students, and perform committee assignments. Scholarship: The successful candidate will develop and maintain a program of scholarship in their area of expertise.  Candidates are encouraged to engage students in external competitions and possibly research.

QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications include a graduate degree in finance or business.  Serious consideration will be placed on an emphasis in financial management coupled with corporate experience.  Applicants should be able to demonstrate successful implementation of financial initiatives in their professional work accomplishments.
