The Department of Philosophy of New York University (http://as.nyu.edu/philosophy.html) invites applications for up to two faculty positions at the rank of assistant professor (tenure track). Area of specialization: Metaphysics and Epistemology (very broadly construed to include the philosophy of language, mathematics, mind, and science). Areas of competence: Open. The start date is September 1, 2023, and a Ph.D. prior to that date is required. These positions are pending administrative and budgetary approval.

Applications should include a CV, a writing sample, a research statement, a teaching statement, evidence of teaching ability, and at least three references.
