Pediatric Community Participation Lab (Pediatric CPL)
This course introduces students to the OT process by pairing students with a client from the community for an OT evaluation, treatment, weekly documentation and discharge. Five faculty participate in the lab under the guidance of the lead instructor.

Samuel Merritt University welcomes applications for adjunct faculty in the Occupational Therapy Department of our Master and Doctoral Occupational Therapy (MOT & OTD) program. Samuel Merritt University, a health sciences-focused university, has a long history of educating ethical, caring, compassionate, highly skilled health professionals in occupational therapy, as well as undergraduate nursing, and graduate programs in Family Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Anesthesia, Doctor of Nursing Practice, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant, and Podiatric Medicine.

Responsibilities: Teach entry-level MOT & OTD students in areas of expertise.

Qualifications: Applicants must be licensed or currently eligible for occupational therapist licensure in California. Applicant must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy, or a closely related discipline. A Master or Doctoral degree is preferred. Prior academic faculty experience is preferred but not required.

Open Need:

Pediatric Community Participation Lab (Pediatric CPL)

This course introduces students to the OT process by pairing students with a client from the community for an OT evaluation, treatment, weekly documentation and discharge. Five faculty participate in the lab under the guidance of the lead instructor.

This course is held in the Fall semester on Monday from 1-4:50.

Timeline: Application reviews will begin immediately and continue until we fill the position. Rank is commensurate with experience and credentials.
