Essential Functions

The successful candidate will oversee the therapeutic drug monitoring ( TDM ) services of the Clinical Pharmacology Laboratory. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: directing research aids in the implementation of all aspects of TDM (sample receipt to reporting) contributing to the implementation of TDM, maintaining quality assurance,maintenance of and successfully resolving emergent instrumentation needs, and some level of data base management (data input) and manipulation (reacting to emergent issues or extraction of data for research purposes). In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for intermittent analysis of research samples when such analysis is based on TDM instrumentation as well as other analytical “kits” (eg, ELISA, others) using plate readers. General laboratory support will include coordination of ordering supplies.

Level II requires 2 years of experience in medical/biomedical/biological-related duties and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Access. A graduate degree can be substituted for years of experience.
