Position Title Administrative Assistant III - Mines Testing Center Residency Requirement Applicants must be a Colorado resident. Job Description

Disability Support Services (DSS) provides support and services to eligible Mines students with disabilities and facilitates the coordination of accommodations for students on campus, including exam accommodations through the Mines Testing Center. The Mines Testing Center provides a service to the campus community by proctoring exams for students who are eligible for disability related exam accommodations or eligible for alternative exam arrangements as a result of other circumstances.

This position provides administrative/receptionist support for personnel and programs within the Mines Testing Center (MTC). The position supports all MTC staff (leadership, coordinators, student workers, proctors, etc). This position organizes and establishes work processes to ensure that students, potential students, staff, parents, and guests are receiving services, understanding policies, and implementing the objectives set forth by DSS and MTC. In addition to front desk reception duties, this position prepares exam administration paperwork, proctors exams, supervises student workers, and assists in communicating testing information to the campus community. This position assists the MTC with student contract paperwork, maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, purchasing, timely payment of bills, and budget projections. This position provides general maintenance and support, proofing, updating and editing of Mines Testing Center webpages, documents, and forms.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Three years of administrative support experience including data entry, social media and computer skills proficiency. Must possess excellent written, verbal and listening skills; outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills; strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task. Ability to work with a diverse population. Part time work will be pro-rated.

College, university or non-correspondence business school course work may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the general clerical or administrative services experience but not for the specific experience. If you are substituting coursework for any of the required experience you must submit your transcripts for this coursework.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior relevant state experience in higher education administration working within an academic setting.

Pay Range

$44,928 - $49,285
