Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
- Skill in preparing well-written, grammatically correct, and accurate documents and
- correspondence with strong proofreading skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office. i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills, especially in terms of attention to detail and problem solving.

- Previous university experience working in an academic or administrative environment.
- Experience using University software (Banner, Degreeworks, CourseLeaf, SAP, GATO, etc).
- Experience supervising employees.
- College degree.
Responsible for providing administrative and general clerical support to management/staff within assigned division/department or unit.
Job Duties
- Assist with student registration issues.
- Assist with schedule of classes for the department.
- Assist with travel processing
- Supervise and monitor the progress of assignments delegated to student employees.
- Collect, distribute, and file faculty forms & reports.
- Assist with maintaining the department website, overseeing the completion of the
- department newsletter each semester.
- Assist in coordinating arrangements for meetings or special events. Record minutes as
- needed.
- Monitor and maintain department inventory of supplies, literature, promotional items, and
- other resources.
- Organize and maintain department files and records in accordance with university
- retention polices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
