Teaching & Outreach Librarian, Assistant Professor

Teaching & Outreach Librarians are part of a highly collaborative department, committed to facilitating dynamic, learner-centered experiences for all students. As a member of the Teaching & Outreach department, the librarian will teach credit-bearing information literacy courses as part of a well-established program. The librarian will develop and deliver course-embedded information literacy instruction sessions using innovative, active-learning techniques and engage with students by creating online learning objects and tutorials. In addition, the librarian will provide one-on-one research consultations for graduate and undergraduate students and faculty. The librarian will also participate in assessment to support the continuous improvement of teaching and learning and to demonstrate the Libraries' impact on student learning to stakeholders.
