The Center for Sport Leadership at Virginia Commonwealth University is recruiting adjunct faculty members for the 2022-2023 academic year to teach courses in the Sports Leadership Master’s program. This pool of applicants will be accessed only when an opening arises. This posting will remain active until June 30, 2023. After June 30, 2023, applicants will need to reapply to the updated posting to remain in the adjunct pool.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet all designated course instruction guidelines.
Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner based on instructions/rubric provided.
Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
Submit final grades according to School policy.
Required Qualifications:
Master’s or doctoral degree in sport management or related field.
Experience teaching or working with students.
Work experience related to the course topic.
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student
environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous teaching experience with master’s level students.
