Job Summary

Under general direction of the Director, Talent Acquisition and Classification/Compensation in collaboration with Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee complex recruitments for Staff and Management Personnel Plan (MPP) positions; and to provide high-level support to oversee, evaluate, and resolve complex issues related to any aspect of the talent acquisition matters.

Employment Status: Full-time, Exempt, Probationary with the possibility of converting to permanent.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, weekends and evenings may be required.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs, PLUS two years of related Talent Acquisition or Recruiting experience.

  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Working knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreements.
    • 3 - 5 years of CSU or Public Sector experience.
    • SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialist Credential.
    • SPHR/PHR Certification.

    Salary:

    Anticipated Hiring Range: $5,350 - $5,500 per month

    Classification Salary Range: $4,170 - $7,545 per month
