Job Details
Working collaboratively with other Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians as well Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine physicians, the Physiatrist provides care to patients seeking rehabilitative medicine, pain management, and outpatient substance use and addiction treatment. The physiatrist provides consultation to clinical staff regarding patient care issues, and may also provide patient education to meet the needs of the patient and families. Participates in a collegial relationship with the physicians, nurses and other health care professionals. Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment for the patient's care.
The candidate must hold the following:
- Valid NJ medical license
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- CDS license
- DEA license
