Global Biomanufacturing Fellow

This two-year fellowship in biomanufacturing is a collaboration of Curia Global, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Office of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Assessment (OPMA), and Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS).
 

This partnership of a global pharmaceutical company with a regulatory agency and an academic institution will provide a rich and rewarding experience for the fellow. In addition, the three partners will build on their individual strengths and common objectives to create compelling projects over the two year span.

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences

The Stack Family Center for Biopharmaceutical Education and Training (CBET) is Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences’ response to the rapidly growing biopharmaceutical field and the need for an educated workforce. The Center provides ACPHS students with the knowledge and hands-on experience to bring innovative biopharmaceuticals to patients. CBET is the first center of its kind in the United States to be created by a pharmacy and health sciences college. In addition to traditional academic programs, the Center offers open enrollment and custom training to employers, as well as contract research services to industry. Candidate must be a PharmD and/or PhD holder in biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, or similar from an accredited College by July 1 2023

-Candidate must be a US citizen

-Candidate must have maintained good academic standing

-Candidate should provide transcripts, CV, and three letters of recommendation

-Candidate should include cover letter that describes interest in one or more relevant areas (e.g., mRNA, monoclonal antibodies, high potency compounds, upstream and/or downstream bioprocessing, regulatory aspects of manufacturing, quality systems, etc.), and include examples of projects demonstrating positive contributions in any of these or related areas
