The Research Data Manager will perform data management and programming functions, including creating and maintaining several databases, cleaning and validating data, generating reports, and performing descriptive analyses.

Major/Essential Functions

Seeking an experienced Data Manager to be responsible for the day to day management of our cloud-based research administration software supported by Cayuse. You will discover efficient ways to organize, store, and analyze data with attention to detail.

The goal is to ensure that information flows accurately, timely and securely within the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data.
  • Routinely extracts data to meet reporting and research needs.
  • Completes data entry at the time of award for state, federal, and private grants.
  • Ensures the integrity and security of the database information; implementing and utilizing best practices in alignment with the database standards.
  • Provides data to assist grant managers in their daily duties
  • Designing, developing, and modifying data infrastructure to accelerate the processes of data analysis and reporting
