The King’s College is a small, Christian, national liberal arts college located in the financial district of New York City that also serves a growing number of online students. Its mission statement reads, “Through its commitment to the truths of Christianity and a biblical worldview, The King’s College seeks to transform society by preparing students for careers in which they help to shape and eventually lead strategic public and private institutions, and by supporting faculty members as they directly engage culture through writing and speaking publicly on critical issues.”

The King’s College academic programs are all rooted in a robust core curriculum in which students study politics, philosophy, and economics (PPE), develop their understanding of Christian faith and practice, and are instructed in other disciplines of the traditional liberal arts. The College offers bachelor’s degrees in nine majors in the fields of business and the humanities. NYC students live and grow in close community with each other and regularly experience the vocational, cultural, and recreational opportunities provided by studying in lower Manhattan and living in the surrounding neighborhoods.

The new president of The King’s College will have a lively Christian faith and be able to affirm the College’s Statement of Faith. He or she will maintain a strong commitment to and ability to articulate the College’s Christian mission, academic vision, community, and New York City location within secular and Christian environments. He or she will be equipped to lead the College, effectively raise funds, and work with the Board of Trustees to expand the reach of its NYC and online programs, strengthen recent strategic collaborations, and grow its base of committed donors.

For additional information regarding the College and the desired qualifications and characteristics of the successful candidate, please see the attached job description.
