Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a researcher interested in participating on an externally funded research project with Dr. Jerome Morris, the E. Desmond Lee Endowed Professor of Urban Education. The researcher hired will join a team committed to impactful research in communities and schools that serve Black and other historically marginalized populations. Job Description
- Responsible for assisting in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis at research sites.
- Participate in community outreach activities that amplify the work of the research team.
- Conduct literature reviews.
- Collaborate in the development of proposals, posters, and papers for national research conferences and publications.
- Ability to work well with teams of people from diverse backgrounds and fields.
- Support various research and outreach projects affiliated with the Communally Bonded Education Research Project.

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ethnographic/qualitative data collection analysis and research.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in educational issues that affect Black and other historically marginalized populations, particularly research and policy matters.
- Ph.D. degree with fieldwork research experience.
