Working Title:  Part-Time Lecturer/Instructor in History and Classical Studies

Appointment Type: Part Time

Purpose of Position:

The College of Arts and Humanities at Christopher Newport University invites applications for an Instructor/Lecturer position in History and Classical Studies, effective August 2023. This position is a part-time, non-benefitted, non-tenure-track appointment with a 3-3 teaching load. As this is a part-time position, research and service activities are not required under the terms of employment, but candidates with an active research agenda would be welcome to pursue their scholarship.
