The University of Alaska Anchorage is seeking a doctoral-level Psychologist to fill a tenure-track, beginning-level Assistant Professor position with primary teaching responsibility in its Ph.D. program in Clinical-Community Psychology (see http://uaa.alaska.edu/phdpsych). The program in Clinical-Community Psychology is accredited by the American Psychological Association and is a scientist-practitioner program that integrates clinical, community, and cultural psychology.

Duties:

 

Conduct instructional, research and service activities as part of the workload. The teaching component of the workload will depend on the successful applicant’s expertise and departmental needs but might include Program Evaluation, Research Methods, Intervention, and/or Multicultural Psychological Assessment. In addition to teaching, this faculty member would be expected to develop a program of research consistent with their area of specialization, conduct Ph.D. student mentorship, and provide service to the university, discipline, and community. Faculty are expected to hold office hours appropriate for the course(s) being taught. Candidate will teach and work with diverse populations.
