Job Description
Front desk receptionist duties include answering phones, appropriately route calls, greeting clients, verifying all personal information is correct, registering patient in hospital information system to open record, scheduling and admitting patients to the Veterinary Health Center Wentzville. Work closely with veterinarians, technicians and staff to insure the veterinary business rules are followed. Discharge patient from computer system, collect money and make change. Effectively manage dynamic, potentially stressful client encounter. Maintain the general appearance of the waiting room and reception area.
Salary
Hiring at $16.25/hour
Grade: PAT 2A
University Title: PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Shift
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired. Six (6) months of experience with frontline customer service and guest relations duties and skills..
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a veterinary or hospital clinic. Knowledge of medical terminology. Excellent customer service skills.
