Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness in the Institutional Research and Effectiveness department.

The candidate would be expected to: devise and implement analytical studies that will serve to inform decision-making at the executive level; conduct and analyze student and alumni surveys; analyze retention and graduation related data; develop effective, accurate, and timely data visualization tools to assist University decision making; actively engage campus stakeholders in enrollment management through use of data; ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the University's responses to internal and external data requests from governmental agencies, accrediting agencies and other associations, including by not limited to Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDs), state surveys, national surveys, accreditation and licensure requests, etc.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Master's degree

Required Skills or Software:
Must be able to utilize a variety of computer software programs in order to successfully complete assigned tasks, Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately, Intermediate knowledge of MS Word 2016, Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel 2016

Required Years of Experience: 5

Other Requirements:
Experience with statistical analysis and statistical-based packages.

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to create effective messaging for reports and presentations. Ability to maintain confidentiality while managing multiple projects and resources.

Critical thinking skills and the ability to identify creative approaches or solutions to issues. Ability to work independently in a dynamic and collegial office environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Doctoral degree. Familiarity with Ellucian Colleague, Entrinsik Informer, Tableau, EAB, Qualtrics. Accreditation reporting experience, including contributing to writing self-studies.
