Position Summary

Horizons Enrichment Center - Support Staff / Driver

Sponsored by Dept. of Child and Family Studies, Southeast Missouri State University

Full Time

Primary Responsibilities

Drive assigned van route - daily

Assist with group activities as needed

Assist with toileting of adults

Assist with picking up lunches and kitchen clean up

Assist with daily activities and community integration trips

Responsible for daily cleaning of equipment used in classroom

Maintain a positive relationship with participants, their caregivers, and all family members

Comply with all state licensure requirements

Required Qualifications

Highschool diploma or GED

Hold current chauffeur's license

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service

Demonstrated commitment to a diverse work environment, including working with multi-cultural populations and an understanding of, and sensitivity to, issues affecting women and minorities
