Position Summary
Senior administrator in the department who has responsibility to assist with the overall quality and efficiency of the administrative activities of the department, especially as they relate to contract administration, marketing, access control, and campus card operations. Provide leadership and direction for all residence life functions of managing a residence hall. May act on behalf of the Director of Auxiliary Services & University Housing in his/her absence.
Minimum Qualifications
· Master’s degree in Student Personnel Administration, Social/Behavioral Sciences, Higher Education Administration, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or closely related field or discipline.
· Minimum of five (5) years’ progressively professional experience in a college/university Housing/Residence Life department.
· Business experience and/or administrative experience in a higher education housing department.
· Housing assignment/contract experience
· Personnel leadership and supervisory experience.
· Policy and strategic planning development and implementation experience. Demonstrated experience in developing and administering policies and procedures.
· Experience in crisis management.
· Demonstrated experience in commitment to inclusion and diversity.
· Available for after-hours/on call responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience using RMS /Mercury Housing Software or similar platform for residence hall management.
· Conduct and Maxient experience.
