Brief Summary of Work for this Position
The Administrative Support Associate works with the Counseling Center team in the UNCW counseling center.
This position reports to the Director, Counseling Center & University Testing Services. The Counseling Center Administrative Associate functions as support of the clinical and administrative staff in a fast- paced college counseling center.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Scheduling medical appointments; greeting patients and visitors; answering questions about the Counseling Center services including all services provided including intake, programs, groups; accurately entering information in the Titanium electronic health record system; managing records requests, and providing support to the department. A commitment to customer service and confidentiality is required.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Preferred education, professional skills and experience
- Previous experience working in a college health setting or a medical office
- Previous experience working with Banner and/or a medical appointment system
