A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) is seeking applications for a non-exempt Clinic Education Coordinator on the Mesa, Arizona campus. The purpose of this job is to support the daily functions of clinic operations and clinical education departments.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the training of all staff/faculty/students as
needed for educational software and google products (forms, sheets,
etc.)
- Assist with maintaining student grading database and entering
grades for competencies
- Responsible for complying with established mail procedures
including coordinating specialty mailings (UPS FEDEX) for
faculty.
- Responsible for ordering all office supplies for use by clinic
employees and faculty
- Backup for Clinical Education Specialist and Clinical
Administrative staff.
- Assist with coordinating, planning, testing and implementing changes and upgrades for educational software and google products (forms, sheets, etc.)
- Assist with the training of all staff/faculty/students as
needed for any educational software and to coordinate planning,
testing and implementing changes and upgrades for google products
(forms, sheets, etc.)
- Act as Liaison between main clinic and Clinic Tech Teams and IT
for any new projects or software changes/enhancements
- Assist with student absence requests and entering blocks
required into educational software while ensuring adherence to
established student attendance policy (from request submission to
approval by faculty)
- Acts as backup to Clinic Manager with daily deposit and
processing of ledger adjustments in Ascend Academia software.
- Processes all incoming and outgoing mail from main clinic bldg.
to administration building daily
- Assist with the daily monitoring and upkeep of the Main Clinic
Fax mailbox
- Coordinates different projects that fall under Smile Forward (i.e. review of adult Smile Forward applications, denture patient program with ADF, Smile Forward – Kids) and manages all phases of the Smile Forward program
- Assists in facilitating, documenting and reporting faculty, staff and student annual recertification requirements (i.e. OSHA, HIPAA, Infection Control, Emergency Response, CPR)
- Assist with the scheduling and organizing of meetings, editing
documents, take meeting notes and room reservations.
- Assist with the copier/ printer maintenance scheduling and
supply ordering
- Assist with scheduling repair / service tickets for facility
and maintenance needs
- All other duties as assigned
- High School plus one-year technical training or schooling or
equivalent experience preferred
- Must have excellent computer skills with good working knowledge
of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be familiar or become familiar with educational software
and other clinic specific programs
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks, and establish priorities,
project management skills and experience required
- The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in
writing
- Must have excellent computer skills with good working knowledge
of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google products (sheets,
forms, etc.)
- Independent problem solving skills
- Ability to deescalate in a conflict or confrontation
- Candidate must have adequate assessment skills and be willing
to be flexible with work assignments, as well as accepting of job
duties from multiple management staff; Must be self-directed
