Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Adjunct Professor of Drug Discovery in the Chemistry and Physics department.

The candidate would be expected to: teach 3 - 6 credits per semester of Drug Discovery at the 100 and/or 200 level. The concepts of biology, chemistry and pharmacology are used to examine aspects of drug discovery from early recorded history to modern treatments for disease. Additionally, students will understand the impacts of key drug discoveries on society and public health. Students are not assumed to have prior biology or chemistry knowledge.

Master's degree

Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

Required Years of Experience:

Other Requirements:
Masters’ degree in pharmaceutical sciences, a medical field, biology, biochemistry, chemistry or other related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in active learning techniques.

Teaching experience at the college/university level.
