UCM is located in Warrensburg, MO, which is 35 miles southeast of the Kansas City metropolitan area. It is a public comprehensive university with over 10,000 students. The School of Computer Science and Mathematics offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology and Software Engineering with over 1400 students. The undergraduate Computer Science and Cybersecurity programs are accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET . The undergraduate Software Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET .

Position Purpose

The School of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Central Missouri is accepting applications for several adjunct instructor positions in Computer Science. The appointment will begin January 2023. We are looking for faculty excited by the prospect of shaping our school’s future and contributing to its sustained excellence.
The Position: Duties will include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in computer science, cybersecurity, data science, information technology or software engineering.
Assignment may include teaching in person and/or online courses during the day, evening or weekend at Warrensburg and/or Lee’s Summit campuses.

Master's degree (Specify field(s) of study below)

Other Education & Formal Training

M.S. in Computer Science or a closely related area required for teaching undergraduate courses; Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related areas required for teaching graduate courses.
