The English Department at Vanderbilt University is accepting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor whose research engages the study of race, colonization and decolonization, diaspora, and/or empire. We welcome candidates working with transhistorical and comparativist methods of literary analysis with substantive investments in periods prior to 1900.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in hand before August 1, 2023 in English, comparative literature, or another related field.
