Position Summary

Responsible for day-to-day operational functions of dual credit enrollment and relationship management with regional high schools to develop and implement equitable opportunities for high school students’ participation in Collegiate Academy, Early College High School and P-TECH programs or comprehensive dual credit courses. Implements dual credit enrollment and student support strategies that are replicated across multiple school districts, charter, and private high schools and with home school students that result in increased completion of certificates and degrees.

Assist with the planning for student cohort information, orientation, application, enrollment, transition and graduation processes, summer bridge programs, and campus student engagement activities. Provides support for continuous improvement efforts with enrollment management, faculty support, pathways development and monitoring of dual credit student college progress and career readiness.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to manage cohorts of dual credit students including exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain workflow systems.
• Ability to propose, implement, and adhere to efficient administrative policies, programs and procedures that enable and encourage the optimum performance of enrolled high school students and the appropriate engagement of other employees and resources within the organization. Able to follow and comply with guidelines established by Educational Partnership based on Dallas College, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and Texas Education Agency policies and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively with both internal and external groups with a cultural, racial, and ethnically diverse background and strong commitment to world-class customer service.
• Able to recognize emerging trends in area(s) of expertise and prepare for changes that may occur resulting from these trends. Ability to multi-task and/or lead projects to ensure they are completed in a quality manner within the expected timeframe.
• Ability to prepare and maintain reports necessary to carry out the functions of Educational Partnerships and track accomplishments.

Physical Requirements

Minimum Knowledge and Experience

Bachelor’s degree plus two years of related experience or Associate degree plus three years of experience in a related field. Official transcripts are required. Current and valid Texas driver’s license required. ***Will be subject to a criminal background check. Some positions may be subject to a fingerprint check***

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Manager is responsible for one or more of the following functions:
Logistics Implementation--Implement student cohort information, orientation, application, enrollment, transition and graduation sessions, summer bridge programs, and campus student engagement activities.
• Communicate cohort progress and pathway monitoring information to high school counselors and administrators, notifying appropriate individuals of needs for changes or problem resolutions.
• Process course requests and rosters received from ISD partners to ensure student pathway completion and appropriate hand-offs to Educational Partnership personnel, Dallas College Academic Schedule Team, and Deans and Department Chairs of all Schools within Academic Success.
Enrollment Management & Faculty Support --Responsible for implementing dual credit enrollment management processes with the Academic Schedule Team (AST), Student Success and Information Technology areas.

• Responsible for compiling student dual credit enrollment workflows and coordinating communication to school districts, charter, private and home school students’ procedures for ordering and receiving learning materials.
• Collaborate with AST and Information Technology on the workflows and technology applications for more efficient processes resulting in on-time deliveries of learning materials.
• Respond to inquiries from Dallas College faculty for support with dual credit courses.

Dual Credit Student College & Career Readiness Support--Collaborates with school district partners and Student Success areas to provide college and career readiness preparation solutions, including planning for academic preparedness through orientation, bridge programming, workforce internships and career readiness resources and experiences developed by Dallas College, state, or national institutions.
• Distribute communication and materials from welcome to graduation specifically for dual credit students.
• Assist with involvement of dual credit students in workshops and events.

Pathway Development, Progress & Completion Reporting--Responsible for developing and updating of ECHS, P-TECH and Collegiate Academy pathways with school districts, Dallas College Schools, and the North Texas Community College Consortium.
• Implement systems for monitoring cohort progress with dual credit pathways
• Recommends adjustments or improvements to ensure successful completion, and coordinates degree audits and graduation applications with Student Success areas.
