Schedule: M-F, 8am - 5pm; evenings and weekends as needed.
An Enrollment Services Operations (ESO) Integrated Systems Specialist supports mission-critical enrollment systems and execute processes relating to necessary systems such as the Ellucian Colleague Student Information System, including the Self-Service modules, as well as Hyland On-Base. This position supports the functions of admissions, financial aid, records, and registration.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
System Testing & Technical
Provides technical support to ensure critical functioning for student information systems and applications in areas such as admissions, financial aid, registration, and student records. Collaborates with Analysts across Enrollment and Student Services division and the College to assist in resolving cross-functional issues, support coordination of processes, and improve communication.
Performs other system technological enhancements in cooperation with the Information Technology division and other campus entities. Participates in related project meetings, as needed and provides information requested for such meetings. Develops in-depth knowledge of an enrollment service area and recommends process improvements based on system functionality. Tests and applies student information system (SIS) upgrades and patches as necessary to ensure compatibility to existing system and services.
Data Analysis, Reporting and Data Maintenance
Maintains and updates data and statistics of student record information in College databases. Responds to data requests and meets with involved parties to document data and reporting needs. Performs configuration tasks and set- up as directed. Applies data definitions for reporting. Provides analyses of data pulls. Assists in development of presentation documents, including graphs, etc.
Communicates with internal partners regarding admissions, financial aid, student records, and registration-related systems. Interacts with College departments, Ohio Department of Higher Education, State of Ohio, Job and Family Services, National Student Clearinghouse, higher education institutions, high schools and other community entities.
Fiscal & Administrative
Prepares, monitors, controls, and ensures compliance with department budget. Monitors, verifies and reconciles revenue and expenditure of budgeted funds. Keeps secure and accurate records. Maintains required documentation, including contract, status reports, staffing reports, budget information, and other data. Works directly with the Director of Financial Aid to ensure compliance for all financial processes and systems support. Recommends policy and process changes accordingly. Maintains confidentiality of student and personnel records, and maintains personnel files, financial data, and other sensitive information. Recommends departmental policy and process changes accordingly.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Attends all required department meetings and trainings.
Manages multiple assignments of varying complexity while meeting federal and state, as well as, internal regulations and procedures. Demonstrates the ability to adapt to changing needs of the College and business partners.
Usual Physical Requirements
While performing duties of this job, the employee regularly exhibits digital dexterity when entering data into computer. The employee regularly stands and walks for extended periods of time, and occasionally sits.
Employee converses verbally with others in person and by telephone. Employee occasionally reaches with hands or arms, climbs or balances and stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls. Vision demands include close, relatively detailed vision and distance vision. Employee occasionally lifts or exerts force of up to 25 pounds when moving materials.
Typical office environment. Regular exposure to moderate noise typical to business offices.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of: Ellucian Colleague or other student information system; Radius by Campus Management or other CRM (customer relationship management) system; FERPA; computer software, including the Microsoft suite, HTML/XHTML, SQL, and database management; and standard office practices and procedures. Skill in: operational analysis and troubleshooting technology systems; supporting program functions; computer programming and systems maintenance; complex problem-solving; multi-tasking; verbal and written communications; maintaining good public relations and customer service; general typing and operation of office equipment. Maintains confidentiality of student records in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy and Higher Education Acts. High School Diploma or GED. Three (3) years of systems experience. State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).
