Boys Varsity Lacrosse Offensive Coordinator Coach

Sidwell Friends School, a coeducational Quaker day school with campuses in Washington, DC and Bethesda, MD is seeking a part-time seasonal offensive coordinator for the Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team for the spring 2023 season. The spring season begins in mid-February and concludes in June.

The offensive coordinator will be responsible for coaching the offensive players on individual skills and offensive systems and implementing effective offensive game strategies. The offensive coordinator will be the primary coach for managing offensive strategy within games. Other responsibilities include promoting and creating a positive team culture, developing fundamental skills of the game, organizing, and enthusiastically participating in running practices as support for the head coach.

It is expected that Coaches will maintain a high standard of integrity in all aspects of team management, foster a culture that promotes the Quaker values of the School and academic experience of the student, and intentionally integrate school core values as the framework from which to coach. A thoughtful approach and a desire to constantly improve and innovative thinking will be essential to success in this role.

Qualified candidates will possess relevant lacrosse coaching experience with an in-depth knowledge of offensive elements of lacrosse. Ideal coaching candidates should have experience coaching at the high school, club and/or college level.

Coaching positions at Sidwell Friends School are campus-based; therefore, this position requires coaching in person.
