Job Summary

The University of Colorado Boulder Advancement team encourages applications for a Human Resources Coordinator! The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting HR initiatives for the Office of Advancement. This position will provide operational support to the Advancement HR team and programmatic and administrative support for critical HR Programs to include the applicant care process, annual mentorship program, divisional Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice (DEIJ) efforts, and the exit survey process. This position formally reports to the Director of Human Resources for Advancement.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

HR Operational Support
  • Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
  • Maintain calendars for the HR Director and Assistant Director.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  • Track and maintain the HR budget, office supply and expense reporting.
  • Provide backup assistance to HR Coordinator.
HR Programming Support:

Applicant Care Process
  • Provide sophisticated scheduling support for all levels of Advancement partners to ensure positive applicant engagement throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Includes making travel arrangements and detailed coordination via phone, zoom, and in-person.
  • Coordinate travel reimbursement and expenses through Concur.
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience by working closely with the central HR recruitment team and the hiring committee to ensure all interviews are confirmed, accurate and timely.
Advancement Mentorship Program
  • Assist the Assistant Director and Director in launching and continuously reassessing and improving the divisional annual mentorship program.
  • Coordinate the call for applications, mentor/mentee matching.
  • Help plan and coordinate related events, surveys and participant materials.
Exit Survey Process
  • Support Advancement’s retention goals by providing analysis of exit interviews using Qualtrics Survey Software.
  • Work with Assistant Director and Director to update and maintain the exit survey tool annually.
Other Duties as Assigned
  • Complete other HR-related duties at the discretion of HR Director and Assistant Director.

We anticipate this position will support a hybrid format (remote and in-person work).

What We Can Offer
  • The salary range is $45,000 - $55,000 annually. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

What We Require
  • High school diploma, GED, or education may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • 1 year of administrative experience including student employment and/or internship experience.
What You Will Need
  • Experience with PeopleSoft HCM.
  • Demonstrated editing skills to produce clear, complete, and concise work products.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional working relationships with Advancement managers, central HR staff, and potential candidates.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to optimally communicate verbally and in writing, informally and formally.
Software Used: Microsoft Office Suite, PeopleSoft HCM, Concur, Qualtrics
