Finance Faculty Position Description
The Bang College of Business invites applications for two faculty positions (open rank) in Finance. Faculty are expected to teach various courses in Finance for both undergraduate and graduate programs. The Bang College of Business offers Bachelor, Master, MBA and PhD programs. The appointment is for twelvemonths (including vacation period) with a starting date of August 16, 2023. Responsibilities involve teaching, research, and service.
Applicants must have an earned doctorate in Finance or relevant area (e.g., Economics) from AACSB/EQUIS accredited institutions (ABDs will be considered but must complete their PhD by August 1, 2023). Applicants should ideally have at least 3-5 years of teaching experiences in reputable universities and extensive professional experiences in the field of major areas. Applicants should be able to teach in English. Candidates must have a record of scholarship, which includes published research in refereed journals and/or books. Candidates with CFA and track record of demonstrated competence in relevant industries will be given extra consideration.

Rank and salary are competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Compensation after-tax compares favorably with net salaries in western countries.
Limited on campus housing is available to rent. In addition to salary, a benefits package includes basic healthcare, reduced tuition rates for KIMEP courses, and subsidy for relocation allowance. New faculty members are provided with a reduced teaching schedule during the first semester. Summer paid teaching is typically available. The salary will be subject to a deduction of 10% income tax.
