The Department of Economics at Missouri University of Science and Technology invites applications for one tenure-track appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning Fall 2023. Rank will be determined upon the credentials of the successful candidate. Candidates with multiple years of experience as a faculty member at a university are preferred. Applicants should be able to demonstrate skills necessary for quality undergraduate teaching in economics and particularly show ability to teach econometrics. The main teaching responsibility of the position is econometrics courses at the undergraduate and master's levels. Candidates must also demonstrate a record of scholarly research, including (forthcoming) publications in refereed economics journals. Preference will be given to candidates with additional research capacity in energy and/or financial economics.

The teaching load is 2-2. One course reduction per year can be expected for the first two years of the appointment. Candidates should have a PhD in economics or closely related field. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
