Advancement Data Administrator

The Advancement Data Administrator functions in a creative and dynamic team environment, working closely with Advancement Operations teams and other stakeholders. This position provides data administration solutions; applies expertise in the delivery of shared data services; investigates and troubleshoots data integrity issues; designs, implements and tests data models, processes, and reports; actively promotes and supports data literacy through providing updated documentation on delivered solutions, data dictionary, meta data; and maintains effectiveness and efficiency of the Advancement data warehouse, data integrity, reporting infrastructure, and data support procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS: Application: A résumé and cover letter must be submitted for consideration. Education: Bachelor’s degree with strong preference in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Information Systems, related quantitative discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in database administration, data warehouse design, or data modeling. Experience using Structured Query Language(T-SQL) programming experience including SSIS , ETL, Cognos, Tableau, and/or PowerBI is preferred. Familiarity in data warehouse skills and knowledge of data warehouse methodologies; business analyst skills; ability to analyze data, design and programming projects. Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to multi-task and set task prioritizations. Experience working at an academic institution and/or advancement context is preferred.
REQUIRED HOURS: The regular hours for this full-time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday, except during the designated summer period when office hours end at 4:30 p.m. Overtime, holiday, weekend and evening work hours may be required. Regular hours may vary due to needs of the College or division. The position is eligible for hybrid-remote accommodations.
ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS: Regular, full-time, non-exempt position. Starting pay rate: $34.76 per hour.
