Job Description:
This position is responsible for facilitating client’s visits, directing communications, with clients during their visit, and acting as a liaison between the client and the staff to ensure the visit goes smoothly. Individual must possess the ability to empathize with clients that are distressed by long waits, scheduling glitches and other problems. Individual should genuinely care about people and animals, possess excellent communication skills, highly organized, strong public relation skills, initiative to problem solve, active listening skills, confidence in handling customer interactions, relationship building skills, projecting a professional image and good interpersonal skills. Must be outgoing, full of enthusiasm and a team player.
Available Shifts:
Earn up to $26.00 with shift differential pay working with the University of Florida’s Client Services Department
Tuesday-Saturday 2pm to 10:30pm
Sunday-Thursday 2pm to 10:30pm
Saturday-Tuesday 8:30 pm to 7am (OVERNIGHT)
Expected Salary:
$17.00- $20.00 hourly
Minimum Requirements:
Veterinary Client Service Representative I:
High school diploma or equivalent and one year relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Veterinary Client Service Representative II:
High school diploma or equivalent and three years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Past experience working in a veterinary hospital Special Instructions to Applicants:
This position is considered an essential personnel employee and is part of the hospital Essential Staff Hurricane Team. You will be expected to work Holidays on a rotating schedule, some weekends as well as other days in order to adequately staff the hospital.
