Founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1948, Stonehill is a private Catholic college located just 22 miles from downtown Boston on a beautiful 384-acre campus in Easton, Massachusetts. The Philosophy Department at Stonehill College has a need for several adjuncts to teach multiple sections of Philosophy 100 for Spring of 2023. The cap for these sections is 23. The course is part of the College’s Cornerstone general education program and is required of all first-year students. (Examples of existing courses here.)

Education & Experience

ABD or Ph.D. in philosophy is required along with teaching experience at the undergraduate level. The ideal candidate would offer a philosophically rigorous and diverse course and would help our students see the connection between the class materials and their own lives.
