Job Summary:

Schedule testing appointments, proctor exams, provide information to students, answer phones, maintain and update files, perform general office duties as assigned. May participate in college events where Testing Services and /or CFAR are participating.

Required Qualifications:

This is a work study position, your work study eligibility will be verified upon receipt of application.

Education and Experience:
Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC, maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better (some positions may require a higher GPA ), and have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at Linn-Benton Community College

Knowledge and Skills: Must be responsible, flexible, confidential and accurate. Must be a good communicator by listening and relaying accurate information. Must be available to work some evenings and weekends.

Abilities: Must be able to work cooperatively with other staff members and work well independently. Ability to interact sensitively and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Office environment, Computers, telephone, copier, shredder.

Work is performed indoors with no exposure to safety and health hazards. Considerable time may be spent working at a computer.
