Clinical Faculty-Interdisciplinary Training Director
Location: Off Campus Location - Moscow or Boise

Position Summary:
The position will act as liaison between faculty in a variety of disciplines on and off-campus; develop an interdisciplinary program and curriculum by collaborating with faculty and other UCEDD programs; work with an interdisciplinary training coordinator to expand the interdisciplinary training program; provide oversight of training program budget; seek and secure additional funding; analyze training program data to write reports, draft articles for publication, and present at state and national conferences; participate as a faculty member in an aligned college/department; serve on state, regional, national, and/or university committees; participate as a member of the CDHD innovative leadership team working to improve lives of people with disabilities and their families; and participate as a faculty member in the Utah Regional LEND program.
This position and added administrative stipend are contingent upon the continuation of work and/or related grant funding.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Doctoral degree in education, special education, psychology, or another human service-related field.
Experience:
- Experience in college level teaching related to disabilities;
- Experience designing and conducting community-based training and professional development activities related to serving the needs of individuals with disabilities and their families;
- Demonstrated record of scholarly productivity;
- Demonstrated grant writing abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and/or experience working with undergraduates and graduate students involved in interdisciplinary training programs related to disabilities;
- Knowledge and/or experience teaching and implementing principles of applied behavioral analysis
- Knowledge and or experience with online learning applications;
- Knowledge of and/or experience working in or with University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities;
- Knowledge and/or experience in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) programs;
- Knowledge and/or experience as a principal investigator, including directing and overseeing the completion of grant-funded objectives and deliverables.
