The College of Wooster invites applications from artistic and innovative individuals for an Assistant Professor tenure-track position in Voice, to begin August 2023. Candidates with significant experience may be considered for appointment at the Associate Professor level and are encouraged to contact the Chair. We are looking for candidates with expertise in teaching and performing both classical and non-classical music traditions, including world musics, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary commercial music, or other popular styles. Teaching responsibilities will include applied voice lessons, opera and lyric theatre workshop, and may also include class voice, vocal pedagogy, diction, or other areas of the applicant’s expertise.
