Purpose of Position
The Master of Business Administration Department in the Haile College of Business at Northern Kentucky University invites applications for an International MBA & Career Development Lecturer ( NTTR ) position.
The AACSB -accredited Haile College of Business serves almost 3,000 of NKU’s 16,000 students with a full complement of traditional degree programs, plus several nationally recognized centers and specialized programs. Primary Responsibilities
The primary job responsibilities are in two areas: The first is to develop and teach courses in professional development, first to international and eventually domestic graduate students. Topics for the course will include job and career searches, but also working in the US, professional cultural norms in the US, communication skills. The second area of responsibilities is around administration of the international MBA program, including managing the admissions process, helping international students navigate logistics of moving to NKU, overseeing ongoing administration, and providing student academic and career advising. The MBA program generally, and the international MBA specifically, are areas of rapidly growing enrollment at NKU . This has created a need for additional offerings – in both teaching and administration for the students in these programs.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree. This position is not a remote employment position; it requires a physical, on-campus presence at our Highland Heights location for teaching face-to-face courses, as well as for University service assignments.
