The OLLI Program Manager collaborates with OLLI's executive
director, OLLI staff, and relevant volunteer committee members to
direct local and national programs for the Osher Lifelong Learning
Institute at UNC Asheville, including the established Paths to
Creative Retirement, Creative Retirement Exploration Weekend and
local Life Transitions programs and potential expanded programming
in the areas of life transitions and other in-person and online
workshops. The OLLI Program Manager coordinates all OLLI programs
outside the College for Seniors curriculum (including but not
limited to Fab Fridays, special lecture series from OLLI and other
university departments and and potential expanded programming in
the areas of life transitions and special lecture series and
workshops, and community partner series.
The OLLI Program Manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects of these programs, including program design and coordination of volunteers for planning and program implementation; organizing logistics (including development; budgeting, marketing, developing program content, registering attendees, leading programs and program evaluation.
