Human Resources Job Description
Essential Functions
Workday Data Entry and Auditing:
- Work with the Operations Manager team to maintain accurate and
up-to-date data in Workday.
- Collaborate with cross campus departments to manage time off
and work schedule functionality.
- Serve as the primary processor of information detailing
employment, compensation, time/time off/schedule, supervisory,
position details, and other information to ensure accurate data is
entered into Workday for faculty and staff within set
deadlines.
- Facilitate employee life cycle processes, hires, promotions,
position changes, leaves of absence, terminations, etc. by
collaborating with key stakeholders across the college.
- Support the Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and HR
Consulting teams in data auditing, data entry and ensuring that all
worker data is accurate and processed properly.
- Collaborate with HR Operations Manager and Operations Director
to test and implement configuration changes to HR
functionality.
- Lead routine audits and collaboration with Payroll on the
biweekly payroll auditing process.
- Provide advice and feedback to the HCM Workday team on process
improvements.
- Support day-to-day HCM Workday operations and transactions at
the direction of the HR Operations Manager.
Employment/Administrative:
- Monitor & triage incoming emails to the HR centralized
mailbox, track status and complete requests in a timely
manner.
- Respond to employment verifications and unemployment claims,
monitor/approve unemployment charges and represent the College at
appeal hearings.
- Support day-to-day operations of the HR office.
- Advise on process improvement for office operations.
- Act as backup for other positions in Human Resources.
- Perform related duties as required.

- Ability to be precise; type accurately and efficiently
- Proven record of proofreading/auditing own and others’
work
- Must be able to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and interact
effectively with a diverse population.
