Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Analytical/Forensic Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at the University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY), seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank in Analytical Science. The primary research focus of the position is Forensic Chemistry. Individuals with expertise in chemometrics/statistical analysis are strongly encouraged to apply. The new hire is expected to enhance existing strengths of the Chemistry Department (https://www.albany.edu/chemistry/) and establish collaborations in Chemistry, the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Engineering & Applied Sciences.

Applicants must address their ability to work with and instruct a culturally diverse population, and have three reference letters. Qualifications: Qualified applicants must have a Ph.D. degree from an institution accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized accrediting organization. The preferred candidate should have postdoctoral training and show promise as an independent extramurally funded investigator.
