The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Denver invites applications for a full-time Teaching Assistant Professor position in our teaching professorial track (non-tenure track) for the academic year 2023-2024 beginning September 1, 2023.

 

The position will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses including introductory physiology to majors and upper-level courses related to human physiology and anatomy including any subspecialties. The duties include teaching six courses per year plus service including advising. Appointments at this rank will be made initially as a one-year contract renewable on a yearly basis for three years, followed by a three-year contract where renewal is contingent on formal performance review. The Teaching Professorial Series provides opportunity for promotion and advancement within the series and includes professional development opportunities in collaboration with the Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL). Ph.D. degree from a life science discipline and demonstrated ability to teach college level courses
