Overview

The Princeton Faith & Work Initiative (FWI) was founded in 2008. It is currently housed in the Keller Center for Innovation in Engineering Education. FWI’s area of focus is values-based leadership exploring the intersection of faith, ethics, and work, and is done with the whole human in mind.

Our mission is to teach and mentor students, conduct interdisciplinary research, and provide resources and events to support students, scholars, alumni, and leaders in the marketplace.

This position is designed to be responsible for FWI’s website and newsletter, communications, development support, and logistical and administrative support to the FWI director and his research team.



Responsibilities

CREATIVE AND COMMUNICATIONS

- Design and develop PDF posters of events

- Edit video content from undergraduate/graduate classes and other events, such as guest speakers

- Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to produce high-quality written and visual content for Constant Contact newsletters

- Manage content of departmental website in the Drupal platform

- Prepare PowerPoint decks for classes and other presentations

- Organize and maintain donor lists, emails, communication campaigns (development, raise grants/gifts to fund initiatives)

SCHEDULING & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

- Administrative support including calendar management and monitoring general email

- Create and coordinate 18 month calendar of departmental events

- Arrange team meetings, presenters/guest lecturers and conferences

- Arrange Faith & Work Initiative Advisory Board meetings and precepts, including making travel arrangements and preparing catering

- Provide budget support/expense management via Concur and arrange travel for faculty member

- Conference/event planning support including annual symposium and reunions

- Interact with other faculty, students, departments

- Other administrative functions, as needed



Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years' related work experience
- Exceptional oral and written communications skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and also as part of departmental team
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite Program
- Experience with Illustrator, Canva or similar softwares

Preferred:

- Experience in higher education communications
- Comfort working both independently and collaboratively with faculty, staff and students
- Experience with WhenIsGood, Calendly, Constant Contact, Drupal, Concur, Prime
