institution, invites applications for a full-time Student
Engagement Center (SEC) Operations Coordinator. Reporting to the
Associate Vice President of Student Affairs/Associate Dean of
Students, this position will serve as a key administrator in the
day-to-day operations of the Student Engagement Center.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Serve as the primary point of contact to students, faculty/staff, and other friends of the College seeking information and services from the SEC.
- Provide operations and logistical support for the SEC and will anticipate and plan for the needs of the SEC team and other student organizations in terms of supplies, event space reservations, and other logistics.
- Be responsible for Managing the SEC Design Center and Resources Room.
- Advise assigned organizations including National Residence Hall Honor Society and be responsible for planning the Davis Projects for Peace each year.
- Coordinate key logistical pieces of the Residential Housing program and the overall SEC Budget.
- Serve as a key administrator assisting with the management of the Maxient Student Conduct System.
- Provide logistical support and manage selected programs from each area of the Student Engagement Center.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred plus 3-5 years’ experience preferred in an educational environment working with students. Applicant will possess well-developed organization skills and management skills to monitor simultaneous projects and ability to supervise student workers to accomplish a variety of day-to-day and special event tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database software required. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work both independently and collaboratively, and to establish priorities appropriately.
